WHY I LOVE PAINTING PETS
Pets have their own minds but mainly live to connect and be present with us. They offer us a simple unconditional love that resonates deep in our heart. After painting for 15 years I honestly can’t think of a more purposeful way to make art than to collaborate with a pet owner and help them celebrate the profound love they share with their pet through art.
Commissioned portraits are painted to last generations, using archival oil paints on fine portrait linen. Portraits are painted from one or more photos and rendered in a realistic style.
